With divorce rates at an all-time high the division of personal property often becomes the main bone of contention.  The most common source of disagreement in marital disputes is the value not just of antiques but, more commonly, jewellery, general household chattels and collections.  It is also a sad reality that friends and families are most likely to engage in property disputes after the death of a loved one.
